REVIEW – Dyson has spent years making vacuums, fans, and other air-moving gear look distinctive enough that plenty of companies have followed its lead. I do not mind that much when the result gives shoppers a less painful price. The DEENKEE Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Stick is clearly built in that Dyson inspired lane, right down to the shape, colors, and handheld stick layout. At $169.99, it costs far less than the famous models it resembles, and in my testing it delivered strong cleaning for the money. I would not make it the only vacuum for a large home, but it makes a lot of sense for smaller spaces or as a second vacuum.
What this vacuum is
The DEENKEE is a rechargeable handheld vacuum that can turn into a stick vacuum with the included tube and brush head. It is light, modular, and built around removable, washable filters. Because it runs from a battery, it gives you the shape and convenience of an upright style cleaner without the same endless runtime.

Design and construction
The main DEENKEE body looks good, even if its inspiration is not hard to spot. The handheld section houses the motor and rechargeable battery, while the clear container holds the filtration system. Plastic latches are used throughout the design to separate pieces for cleaning, emptying, or reconfiguring the vacuum.

I liked how many parts could be removed, but there is a small learning curve. More than once I found myself opening the wrong latch while trying to release a different section.

With the container removed, the center of the vacuum is basically a compact electric motor connected to the battery housing.

A latch under the handle releases the Li-ion battery. Unless you are cleaning the unit or replacing the battery, there is not much reason to remove it.

Filters and cleanup
The filter system is also easy to reach. DEENKEE uses several washable filter pieces, which I appreciate because I do not miss buying vacuum bags or disposable replacement filters all the time.

The outer foil filter catches larger debris before dust reaches the inner filter stack, and it can be washed clean like the rest of the filters.

Attachments and configurations
The DEENKEE ships with several attachments that can be connected in different combinations. That flexibility is the best part of this style of vacuum.

Each attachment uses a plug and latch system. Since the parts only fit in one orientation, setup is straightforward once you know which latch releases which piece.

The electric floor brush has a powered connection at the base, so the roller spins like it would on a traditional upright vacuum.

A longer bristle roller is installed out of the box, and DEENKEE also includes a shorter bristle replacement roller. The 2-in-1 dusting brush also comes in the box.

Combining two functions in one accessory is a nice touch, since it cuts down on loose pieces without giving up much usefulness.

The floor brush and 2-in-1 dusting brush can connect directly to the vacuum or through the aluminum extension tube with the included connecting joint.

The extension tube is what makes the DEENKEE feel like a normal floor vacuum, but it can also be rearranged for tighter jobs.

I found those different setups especially useful for getting under couch cushions and cleaning my car.
Wall mount and charging
A wall mounting bracket is included, and it lets the vacuum charge while it is stored.

The vacuum snaps into the bracket, and the bracket provides two storage slots for the connecting joint plus the 2-in-1 dusting brush attachment. Before the first cleaning session, plan on charging the battery fully. DEENKEE lists a 5-6 hour charging period.

The four LED bars flash during charging and then act as a battery gauge while you vacuum. Since runtime is limited, those indicators are worth watching.
Cleaning performance
Once charged and assembled, the DEENKEE is ready to use. Its motor is rated at 17 kpa, or about 2.5 psi. That number may not sound dramatic, but the suction from this handheld vacuum was better than I expected.

I also liked the three LEDs on the front of the floor brush. They were genuinely useful in dark apartment corners.

My apartment is about 500 square feet, with hard floors and a few carpets. The DEENKEE handled both well. I got about 25 minutes from the battery, partly because I kept switching between the two power modes. The two modes never quite made sense to me, because I would clean an area on low and then end up switching to high anyway.
The sound is not silent, but it is less irritating than many vacuums because it runs at lower frequencies instead of producing that sharp, grating whine.

After roughly 25 minutes, the DEENKEE had pulled up an unexpected load of dust and pet hair from an apartment I thought was already fairly clean.

Emptying can be done by lifting the top if something is stuck inside, or by opening the lower latch and dumping the debris. Steering around furniture was easy, the weight never became annoying during that 25 minute run, and suction stayed strong enough that my rugs and floors looked noticeably cleaner afterward.
What I liked
- Washable filter system
- Maneuvers easily around furniture
- Strong suction for a small vacuum
What needs work
- Battery runtime could be longer
- The two power modes felt unnecessary
- The plastic main body seems vulnerable if dropped

Final thoughts
The DEENKEE Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Stick is an affordable alternative to the much pricier Dyson models it plainly resembles. I would not choose it as the main vacuum for a large or even mid-sized home or apartment, but it is excellent as a backup cleaner. For a small apartment, it could be enough on its own if you can finish before the under 30 minutes of battery life runs out. At $169.99, it is a solid deal for a vacuum that can compete surprisingly well with comparable Dyson style models.
